I'm delighted to announce that from September 2025' I will be taking bookings for my Cake Decorating & Birthday Party workshops! So let me tell you what they are all about!
Decorating Workshops
Simply choose from one of our party packages and we'll get planning a fabulous sweet birthday workshop for your guests. From cupcakes to cookies we can tailor the workshop experience to your needs. Choose from exciting designs such as unicorns, rainbows, farm, safari, summer, floral, dinosaurs & so much more!
I will be offering both cake decorating workshops such as Halloween/Christmas (coming soon) and also Birthday Party Workshops.
Location/Venue
Located in the beautiful sea side town of Malahide, we can provide a fantastic function room (depending on availability) in our local Malahide Rugby Club, clients can rent out this spacious room and we'll do the rest!
Along with free parking in the club, parents can enjoy a beautiful walk along the estuary while waiting for your little ones, grab a coffee in the bar, beer on the deck or a delicious bite to it!
Alternatively why not bring the party workshop to your own home! I will bring everything, set up and teach your little party guests the art of cake decorating!
What will they learn?
If your little ones love to use their hands, love to be artistic & creative then this is the workshop for them! I will teach them all my sweet decorating skills ... from cupcakes, cookies, modelling using fondant and much more! They will go away with a delicious box of treats that they will have decorated themselves & a proud smile!
Using various techniques such as little shapes & cutters like flowers, stars, butterflies etc they will to learn decorating basics like rolling fondant, using moulds, cutters, using piping bags and go away with a new found knowledge
Who will my workshops cater for?
At the moment my workshops & birthday party workshops will suit from ages of 7-12 years. With the hope of starting both parent/toddler, adult, OAPs & special needs workshops in the near future.
Each workshop or party will be tailored to children's needs & skill set. I'll be there to talk & teach them through each process. In turn they will get to be creative, learn a new skill & have fun!
Depending on availability of the venue & my own workload at any given weekend the workshops will be available on a Saturday or a Sunday. Planned seasonal workshops during school holidays are currently in the planning process so do keep an eye in my social media pages.
Children's Birthday Party Workshops
A fun & creative way to celebrate a birthday! Party guests will get to design their very own sweet creation and bring home a sweet box of handmade delicious treats decorated with their own hands. So no need for party bags!
We will supply all the necessary utensils, tools to decorate in a theme suited to their wishes & age group!
The birthday boy/girl will also get the opportunity to blow out a candle on their very own small sweet treat that we will provide. The perfect opportunity to sing 'Happy Birthday' or to take a picture!
Alternatively, I can bring the party to you! I can 'setup' my own little sweet workshop for your birthday guests in comfort of your own home. Again this is subject to my availability at any given weekend. So let's get planning a party with a difference!
